On March 24, 2026, the Ministry of Interior issued Decision No. 346/QD-BNV on the announcement of amended and supplemented administrative procedures related to foreign workers working in Vietnam.
The basis for issuing this Decision is Decree 219/2025/ND-CP on Regulations on granting and exempting work permits for foreigners.
This decision replaces 6 procedures related to foreign workers (effective from March 24, 2026), including:
- Issuing certificates confirming that foreign workers working in Vietnam are not subject to the work permit requirement.
- Reissuing certificates confirming that foreign workers working in Vietnam are not subject to the work permit requirement.
- Extension of the certificate confirming that foreign workers working in Vietnam are not subject to the work permit requirement.
- Issuing work permits for foreign workers working in Vietnam.
- Reissuing work permits for foreign workers working in Vietnam.
- Extension of work permits for foreign workers working in Vietnam.

This Decision takes effect from the date of signing and repeals Decision No. 886/QD-BNV dated August 11, 2025.
